How do i get rid of the audio advertisements on my computer?

Recently, there are random audio advertisements that begin playing on my computer. Even after I close out of all the programs I have running, they still continue to play. I ran Malwarebytes, but it didn’t help. Is there free software I can download somewhere to fix it?

I would run a scan with SuperAntiSpyware and Avira in safe mode.

press CTRL ALT DELETE (task manager) and close:
if you use firefox close firefox.exe
if you use internet explorer close iexplore.exe
if you use google chrome close chrome.exe

that might be it. what might be happening is even after you close the browser its still running because it didn’t close properly. ending its task in the process list in the task manager will guarantee its no longer running on the system

Some malware installs a ‘resurrection’ folder in the ‘System Restore’ section; Malwarebytes should be run with this turned off:
Right click ‘My Computer’> Properties> System Restore: here, check ‘Turn off system restore’> OK out.
Note this action will delete all previously saved system restore points, which may pose a minor issue.
